Our Influencer's Christmas Eve Traditions

Our Influencer's Christmas Eve Traditions

Christmas takes on a whole new meaning when there’s a little one in the family. We know that everything becomes that little bit more magical and you want to make it a Christmas they’ll never forget. One of the best ways to do this? Christmas family traditions. Each family has their own and Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without these special little rituals.

We recently asked our amazing influencers to share what they do with their family before Santa arrives. Read on to see some of the wonderful Christmas Eve traditions they shared that add that touch of magic to their little one’s Christmas.

Adding a touch of magic

“We love Christmas Eve! We always have a takeaway (normally pizza) and the kids each have a Christmas Eve box with new pjs in and a mug for a hot chocolate before bed. Then they help to put out a mince pie and milk for Santa, as well as s carrot for the reindeers.” - @joannes_home2

“Christmas Eve is Archie’s birthday so it’s extra special now. We celebrate his birthday, go for a meal, see family, and get festive and cosy in the evening with a Christmas film, Christmas Eve box and some treats. Now Archie is getting older, we will get ready for Santa too!” - @jessicalouise.home

“Christmas is absolutely my favourite time of the year, especially now I’ve got two beautiful babies to share it with. Christmas Eve is the best, watching Ezra’s face light up with wonder as we leave the milk, mince pie and carrot out for Santa and Rudolph will never get old. He’s really into the magic of it all and I can’t wait until Etta really appreciates it too. There’s nothing better than creating magic for your children.” -@ezra_etta_and_me

“Christmas Eve is one of our favourite days (apart from the big day of course!) As a family we visit Santa in the day and go to the pantomime in the afternoon at the theatre- it’s just magical!

Our tradition is to put out a carrot for Rudolph, a cake and milk for Santa, and then we go outside and sprinkle magic glitter, all in our Christmas pyjamas from the Christmas Eve box.

And then, before we go to bed, we read a beautiful Christmas book together in front of the fire…all ready for Father Christmas to arrive” - @downwiththewelbourns
